Must be 27 years old with previous boating experience and valid DL. If born after Jan 1st 1988, must also have proof of completed NASBLA certification course.

We want to make the day as easy and fun as possible, so we include Fuel, Life Vests, Snack Pack, Cooler with Ice and Bottled Water and Pool Noodles for relaxing in the lake. We even provide motorized anchors!

We do allow alcohol on the boat…but it must be in moderation. We want your day to be relaxing and full of fun for all.

We are not a good fit for you if you’re looking to go party on the lake. the driver/captain of the boat must remain sober at all times in order to operate the boat.

A total of 9 people can be on the boat.

Highly recommended that all participance arrive 15-20min prior to launch time. Safety and boat operational instructions are required before launch.

Blythe’s Landing has limited spots for cars. We recommend carpooling, as parking can get tight…especially on weekends!

Sunscreen! You can bring food and drinks as you would like. We also recommend towels. Remember we get you jump started with life jackets, cooler with ice and some bottled water…we even get you going with a snack pack and pool noodles for floating!

Small pets are allowed (under 25lbs). There is an additional per pet charge of $20/ea, with a max of 2 total pets.

They are all great! We love being on the water during the week (Monday-Friday at Noon), it is a more relaxed vibe. Although, the weekend is a great time to meet new friends on the lake!

No.  Beaching or intentionally pulling the boat onto a shoreline risks damaging the boat propeller, toons and other boat equipment. Anchors are provided so participants can reach the shoreline safely while the boat is moored off shore.

As long as you have the proper NC fishing license, then of course! Lake Norman has some great fishing!

These new boats are equipped with a Bluetooth enable sound system, so you can connect your device and listen to your tunes.

We highly recommend selecting the optional trip cancelation insurance we offer. The small added cost provides peace of mind, and there are no conditions that have to be met in order to cancel.

When life does unexpectedly happen, want to help as much as can. If you are not able to select cancelation insurance. Below is the standard cancelation policy.

• If the reservation is canceled within 5 calendar days of the trip date, 100% of the reservation is refunded.
• If the reservation is canceled within 3 calendar days of the trip date, 75% of the reservation is refunded.
• If the reservation is canceled within 2 calendar days of the trip date, 50% of the reservation is refunded.
• If the reservation is canceled under 2 calendar days of the trip date, 0% of the reservation is refunded.

We want you to be safe. That being said, just because it is not ideal conditions (i.e. cloudy, chilly, or light rain etc.), does not constitute bad weather. However, we do offer trip insurance that can be added on to your rental, which gives you full cancelation options!

If the weather is dangerous (lightening, heavy rain, lake warnings, etc…), we will work with you to book another time slot for your rental or issue a refund.
